Naokai Nishida studied under Taihei Moto-ori in Bizen Province (Okayama Prefecture).
Career
A retainer of the Kokura Clan (Fukuoka Prefecture) during the Edo Period. As his clan refused to participate in the fight against the English ships at Shimonoseki, he went on a hunger strike, dying as a result.
