Career
Naoyoshi Yamaguchi joined the Bureau of Foreign Affairs (1868). Followed Ambassador Tomomi Iwakura to Europe and America as vice-envoy (1871). Upon the establishment of National Diet (1890), was nominated to House of Peers.
