Graduated from Tokyo University of Commerce (1941) and entered Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Career
Served in several offices of the ministry. Assigned to the Overseas Office at London (1951) and became second secretary to the Japa-nese Embassy at London and concurrently Consul at London (1952). Appointed chief of Third Section, Market Department, Foreign Trade Bureau of the ministry (1953), chief of Third Section of the European and American Bureau (1954), chief of Fourth Section of the same bureau (1955).
