He graduated from the Punjab University in 1925. Then, he got his SC.D. degree (Doctor of Science) at the Johns Hopkins University in 1934.
Career
Narain Das worked as a head of Animal Nutrition Division, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, 1944-1957; as Director, Indian Veterinary Research Institute 1957-1958; as Principal, Post Graduate College of Animal Sciences, 1958-1960. And then, he was a Professor and Head of Animal Nutrition Department, U.P. Agricultural University, Paotnagar (since 1960).
