Since 1982, Natalia Aleksandrovna had been working in the Department of Criminal and Penal Law of the the Saratov Law Institute (now Saratov State Academy of Law). Since 2003, she turned the director of the Center for Research on Organized Crime and Corruption at the Saratov State Academy of Law, and expert of a number of Commissions and Committees of the State Duma and the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Author of over 250 scientific papers, including monographs. She is also an author of comments on certain sections and chapters of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
