Chairman, Moscow Social of Ophthalmologists. Board member, All-Union and All-Russian Social of Ophthalmologists. Member, cd collegium, journal “Vestnik oftalmologii”.
Member, Ophthalmological Problems Committee, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Medical Sciences. Secretary, Academy M. I. Averbakh Prize Commission. Reviewer, Higher Certifying Commission.
Member, Learned Council, Moscow City Health Department. Did research on various aspects of ophthalmology, notably on the surgical treatment of glaucoma. Wrote some 60 works.
