Voskresenskii Nicholai Vasilievich was born on 12.05.1839 in Zemlyansk . Died on 18.02.1904 in Podolsk of Moskov province. The official of the provincial government of Voronezh, 1861-1874, 1877-1895, parish police officer in Nizhnedevitsk, 1874-1877. Councillor of State. In 1895 moved from Voronezh.
Born in the family of the official, who gained nobility. Graduated from Novohopersk parish school in 1855.
Was employed by the parish court and city magestrate in Novohopersk, 1856-1861. The official of the provincial government of Voronezh, 1861-1874, 1877-1895, parish police officer in Nizhnedevitsk, 1874-1877. Councillor of State. From 1871 was published in the newspaper “Don”, from 1883 in “Provincial records of Voronezh ”. Assistant chairman in provincial statistical committee in 1884-1889.
Under auspices of Voskresenskii (with contributions from Dikarev M.A.) agendum of Voronezh province on 1887 was created. From the middle of 1880th was collecting material on the history of “Provincial records of Voronezh ”. Besides creating the index of the formal and informal parts of the newspaper during the 1838-1888 years, also compiled bibliographical outlines of editors and some employees, placed articles about literary figures who were born in Voronezh region, mentioned facts about publishing and book trade. Voskresenskii was the first chronographer of provincial statistical committee, who traced it’s history from 1835. Took part in creating the provincial museum in which in 1894-1895 he donated a number of books and 200 annual volumes of newspapers.
