Ogawa Bimei graduated from Waseda University, where he studied English literature (1905).
Career
Ogawa Bimei made his debut as a novelist with his "The Wanderer" at the age of 23. He started as a writer of naturalism, then turned to humanitarianism and socialism. He wrote many children's stories in the interval, which are collected in six volumes.
