Olusola Ijaola is a Nigerian electrical engineering educator.

His father was from the town of Abeokuta and his mother was from the village of Awowo, a few miles from Abeokuta.
Olusola was born on March 2, 1940 in Owu-Totoro, Abeokuta, Nigeria; son of Samuel Okewola and Emily Mosunmola (Oga) Ijaola.
Education
Olusola studied at Moscow Electrical Institute in Moscow, Russian Federation. In 1970 he became a Master of Science in Electromech Engineering. In six years he was a student of the University of Maryland in Maryland, United States. he received a degree of the Doctor of Philosophy in the area of Electromech Engineering.
Career
Olusola worked as an assistant lecturer, lecturer II, then lecturer at the University of Lagos in Akoka, Nigeria from 1970 to 1979. In this year he became a senior lecturer in Nigeria. He worked there until 1988. From 19888 to 1990 he worked as an associate professor of electrical engineering in Nigeria. Since 1990 he was a professor. In two years he became a Chief Executive Officer in Akuley Ltd. in Magodo, Nigeria. Also, he was chairman of the board of directors.
Since 1983 Olusola was a principal partner of Jagunol Engineers and Partners in Lagos, Nigeria. Since 1993 Olusola was a chairman of the World Bank project for equipment acquisition to Nigerian universities and the National University Commission. In 1997 he became a chairman of the audit committee in Guinean Insurance Plc. in Lagos, Nigeria. In four years he worked in ACENICO Insurance Plc. In this year he was a chairman management board of the Unilag Health Center.
Since 2003 he was an executive chairman of the Jagunol Engineering Committee Ltd. Also, he was a doctor of medicine and chief executive officer of Jagunol Engineering Company Ltd.
