Sasson was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. The city began in 1909 as a Jewish neighborhood founded beside the ancient port of Jaffa, and it grew into one of Israel's principal commercial centers.
Sasson studied law at Tel Aviv University, receiving a Bachelor of Laws cum laude in 1987. She returned to the same university for a Master of Laws, awarded cum laude in 1993, and then completed an Executive MBA, also cum laude, in 1995.
Tel Aviv University was established in the 1950s and offered legal education to students who would enter Israel's legal profession. Her law degree preceded her admission to the Israel Bar in 1988, the year the profession's regulatory framework was in place under the 1961 legislation that created the bar association.
Sasson was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1988 and joined Yigal Arnon & Co. that year. The firm was founded in 1957 by Yigal Arnon, and her career there led to partnership in 1995.
The firm, headquartered in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, grew into the fourth-largest law firm in Israel. In 2022 it merged with Tadmor-Levi & Co., a firm then ranked seventeenth in the country, and the combined practice took the Arnon, Tadmor-Levi name.
Her practice covers commercial and administrative litigation and arbitration, along with corporate law and insolvency. She has specialized in contracts and disputes in the technology and intellectual property fields, drafting licensing, franchising, distribution, and collaboration agreements.
In 1991 she co-authored the Israeli chapter on agency and distribution agreements for the Butterworth Legal Publishers series International Agency and Distribution Agreements, whose volumes were issued by Butterworth in 1990. Her professional record also includes a partnership with Associa Tes.
Sasson was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1988, which brought her into the Israel Bar Association. The association was established in 1961 as an autonomous statutory body to incorporate the country's lawyers and to safeguard the standards and integrity of the legal profession.
Membership is compulsory for lawyers licensed in Israel. The association also holds mandatory authority to regulate the ethical and disciplinary conduct of its members.
