During his professional course discharged various positions in the School of Medicine, for the most part as assistant to Professor Noé. Member of the commission to study Anquilostomiasis in Chile, 1919-1920. Professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Concepción since 1924.
Founder of the Biological Society of Concepción, 1927. Secretary and editor of the Boletín of the same. Secretary of the Faculty of Medicine, 1928-1932.
Dean of the same since 1932. Director of the Institute of General Biology of Concepción. Member of the University Council.
Of the Public Welfare Society of Concepción. Etc. Dr. Wilhelm has been delegate to many scientific congresses, including: Second International Latin American Congress of Odontology, 1925. First National Congress of Pharmacy of Concepción, 1926.
Eleventh International Congress of Zoology of Padua, 1930. Fourth Congress of Sexology of Vienna, 1930. Second International Congress for Sex Research of London, 1930.
Before all of these bodies Dr. Wilhelm read papers which were subsequently published.
