During World War I, evacuated to Samara, educated at Samara High School. After the revolution, returned to Wilno (then Lithuania, later Poland). Worked on the newspaper Belorusskoe Slovo.
On 7 June 1927, shot in Warsaw railway station the Soviet Ambassador P. Voikov, a participant in the murder of the Tsar’s family. Sentenced to life imprisonment, but released on 15 June 1937. Lived in Yugoslavia and Poland before World War II. After World War II, moved through Lichtenstein to the USA, 1956.
Worked for Russian newspapers in the USA.
