Appeared with the Mariinskii Theatre while still a student. With the Mariinskii Theatre, 1906-1920. Made many guest appearances in Moscow, Siberia, and also in Paris, London, New York, and Tokyo.
Took part in the first Russian Season in Paris, 1909. Emigrated. Lived abroad from 1920. Directed, with her husband, the Russian Romantic Ballet Company in Berlin.
Taught in Buenos Aires from 1928.
