He told in an interview: "Sheikh, Abdullah, and I went to college in New York City. One day we were really bored and we just decided to do a video for fun. We started to upload videos on YouTube and Alhamdulillah (praise be to God) it got us to where we are right now.
We had a lot of interviews on television shows.".
He also became part of another collaborative channel "3MH" with Sheikh Akbar, Karim Metwaly and Slim Albaher. TrueStoryASA and 3MH split up in May 2015.
Since then he has created many videos and is known as solo YouTuber. He has also appeared in American buddy cop comedy-drama action film American Sharia.
Adam first released the single "Diamond Girl" on May 3, 2015 featuring Sheikh Akbar and Mumzy Stranger as a part of TrueStoryASA. Later on during that year, he released another single " Survivor" on October 18, 2015.
Adam released his third single "Tomorrow"s Another Day" on December 4, 2015. Controversies A video titled "Racial Profiling Experiment"" uploaded on Adam"s YouTube channel in October 2014 became viral around the world. In the video Adam and Sheikh Akbar argued with each other in front of a police officer wearing western outfits but the cop ignored them.
The video received more than 200,000 views on YouTube and it was also picked up by media.
Public reaction to the video was against the police officer Later Adam admitted that the video was a hoax.
In December 2015, Dailymail.co.uk reported that the Scotland Yard spent £80,000 on Adam. They claimed that Adam was paid £26,00 by the Scotland Yard for performing in London and Manchester.
The Scotland Yard also spent money for releasing the single Survivor which was written by a British counter-terror officer
The lyrics of the single Survivor includes the line: "I’m trying to put my homies on the right track, so people ain’t scared of every Asian with a backpack.". Daily Mail also referred to Adam as a "criminal" for his YouTube video in which he steals his manager"s car to prank him and drives it with one hand while holding the camera and saying that he cannot legally drive in the United Kingdom.
