Peter Glendinning received a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism/Political Science (1973), a Bachelor of Fine Arts (1976) and a Master of Fine Arts (1978) from Syracuse University, New York. He also attended law school there (1975-1976).
Since 1978 Peter Glendinning has been assistant professor and head of photography in the Art Department at Michigan State University, East Lansing. In 1977 he taught color photography at Community Darkrooms in Syracuse.
His most recent photographs show oddly colored leafless trees, painted with large white numbers.
