Kao Ping-chung held various positions in the electrical department in the Yunnan Provincial Government. After the establishment of the Natinalist Government, he continued to remain in government service. In December 1927, Mr. Kao was appointed by the Nationalist Government as director of the Electrical Administration of Yunnan and concurrently director of Yunnan Radio Administration Bureau.
