Since 1859 Raisa Alexandrovna began to put her stories (behind the Avenerok anagram) in Entertainment, then published: a story Pustushkov (Russky Vestnik, 1860, No. 6) and a novel Vsyakomu svoe (1862). The works are dedicated to homesteading life and they reflected the emerging conflict of "fathers and children". Collaborated in Drug Zhenshchin, translated from Polish.
Pisarev loved Raisa Alexandrovna since childhood, and after struggling with his parents, who considered marriage between such close relatives impossible, he achieved his goal and made Raisa his bride (1860). Unfortunately, she didn't have the same feelings as Pisarev and in 1862 married E.N. Gardner.
