Reinosuke Suga was born in 1883 in Akita, Japan. The first son of Reiji Suga, former president of the Akita Bank.
First, entered the Furukawa Mining Company, and later became director of Furukawa Gomei Company. He appointed chief of Coal Board (1946) and governor of the Coal Distribution Corporation (1947).
Then, purged, and became chief editor of a poetical magazine Dojin. Later, reinstated in business field and appointed chairman of the Japan Industrial Council and chairman of the Tokyo Electric Power Company (1954).
