Davis, Richard Beale was born on February 5, 1845 in Hickory Ground, Virginia, United States. Son of Williams Thomas and Elizabeth Taylor Corbin (Beale) Davis.

Career

In practice at Petersburg, Virginia, since 1871. Member Virginia House of Delegates, 1875-1877, 1902-1904. City attorney, Petersburg, 1879-1881.

Assistant attorney general, Virginia, January since 1911.
