With Planters National Bank, Richmond (now State-Planters Bank & Trust Company), since 1885, beginning as clerk and successively cashier, 1892, vice president, 1911, president, 1915, Chairman of the Board since August 18, 1920. President Family Service Society, Richmond, since 1925. Chairman Liberty Loan Committee for State of Virginia for three loans, World War I.
