Ron Sarti served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972 and became first lieutenant.
Sarti has been an administrator in higher education. He has also been a writer and authored such fantasy novels as "The Chronicles of Scar" (1996), "Legacy of the Ancients: Book Two of the Chronicles of Scar" (1997) and "The Lanterns of God" (1998).
He currently lives and works in Dayton, Ohio.
