This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. While some publishers have opted to apply OCR (optical character recognition) technology to the process, we believe this leads to sub-optimal results (frequent typographical errors, strange characters and confusing formatting) and does not adequately preserve the historical character of the original artifact. We believe this work is culturally important in its original archival form. While we strive to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work, there are occasionally instances where imperfections such as blurred or missing pages, poor pictures or errant marks may have been introduced due to either the quality of the original work or the scanning process itself. There are now 65,000 titles available (that's an incredible 25 million pages) of material ranging from works by famous names such as Dickens, Trollope and Hardy as well as many forgotten literary gems , all of which can now be printed on demand and purchased right here on Amazon. Rosina Doyle Wheeler"s mother was the advocate of women"s rights Anna Wheeler, the daughter of the Review Nicholas Milley Doyle, a Church of Ireland clergyman, Rector of Newcastle, County Tipperary, Ireland, while her father was Francis Massey Wheeler, an Anglo-Irish landowner. One of her mother"s brothers, Sir John Milley Doyle (1781–1856), led British and Portuguese forces in the Peninsular War and the War of the Two Brothers.
Her husband was Edward Bulwer-Lytton, a novelist and politician.
