Since 1951, assistant, associate professor, professor, head of the department of Forest cultures and breeding, vice-principal Voronezh Forestry Institute. He was a student of M.М. Veresin. Specialist in forest breeding and seed farming. The author of more than 150 works, including 3 monographs.
