Career
Sadamitsu Suganuma rendered meritorious services in many campaigns of Ieyasu. He became well known for his successful defense of Noda Castle against Shingen Takeda (1573). He defended Edo in the Sekigahara Battle (1600) and was made Lord of Nagashima Castle in Ise Province (Mie Prefecture) with a fief of 20,000 koku.
