Career
Sanjiro Ishi became professor at the Tokyo Kyoiku University (1949). Held in succession the positions of president of both Middle School and High School attached to the Tokyo Kyoiku University. He was appointed Chairman of the Curriculum Council of the Education Ministry. Made survey of educational conditions of United States (1951).
