Seishichi Ono graduated from Medical Department of Tokyo University in 1912.
Career
He became assistant professor at Hokkaido University in 1921. In 1924 was promoted to professor and then served successively as director of the hospital attached to Hokkaido University and dean of Medical Department of the same university.
Held additional post at 'Hokkaido Women' s Medical College in 1945. Retired from Hokkaido University in 1948. Appointed president of Sapporo Medical University in 1950 and the same year became emeritus professor of Hokkaido University.
Membership
Member of Japan Obstetrics Society, chairman of Hokkaido Obstetrics Society, honorary chairman of Sapporo Skiing League and counselor of Japan Skiing League.
