Career
Sergey Vasilyevich Ivanov was a lecturer of the Pedagogy of the Chernigov Teachers' Institute (1915-1920), employee of the Chernihiv (1919-1920) and Kursk (1920-1924) provincial department of public education.
Since 1924 he was a lecturer, associate professor, professor of the Voronezh State University. In 1931-1942 - head of the department of pedagogy of the Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute. Since 1942 - Head of the Department of Pedagogy of the Voronezh State University.
Author of over 100 scientific publications, including books: "Types and structure of a lesson" (Moscow, 1952), "Preparing a teacher for lessons" (Voronezh, 1949), "Lesson analysis" (Voronezh, 1949) and others.
