In 1938-1939, the 2nd secretary of the city committee of the Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in Voronezh. In 1939-1941 and 1946-1953, rector of Voronezh State University. Member of the Great Patriotic War, Commissioner of the Voronezh Volunteer Regiment. During 1954-1966 he was a head of the department of political economy of the Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute. Since 1966 he was associate professor of the department of political economy of the Voronezh Forestry Institute.
