Quotations: "The way I usually work," says Scheer, "is to make a lateral sweep of sequential images with a 35mm camera, print them in black-and-white, and butt them up against each other. Sometimes I rephotograph the resultant panorama with a large-format camera and print it again. Finally, I paint the photograph with oil paint."
Sherie Scheer belongs to the Los Angeles Center for Photographic Studies, SPE, Artists Equity, Artists for Economic Opportunity, and the Los Angeles Institute for Contemporary Art.
