Career
Shichiro Takemura served with Takemura Shoten Company and, after it was renamed Takemura Tape Manufacturing Company, became its senior managing director. Established and became president of Taiyo Kogyo Kaisha (Taiyo Industrial Company) (1943) and, after it was merged into Ashimori Industrial Company (1945) served as its managing director.
Founded and became president of Takemura Shoji Kaisha (Takemura Trading Company) (1947). Became vice-president of Ashimori Industrial Company (1949) and with the merger of Takemura Trading Company into Ashimori Industrial Company (1952), was appointed president of the latter company.
