Career
From 1922 Shigeji Yamanoda worked for Mitsubishi Bank. Later he established and became president of Tairiku Kinzoku Kogyo Kaisha (Continental Metal Industry Company) and held additional post of director of the factory of Nakayama Kogyo Kaisha (Nakayama Steel Industry Company). Shigeji Yamanoda was the president of Amagasaki Seiban Kaisha (Amagasaki Metal Plate Company) since 1947 and managing director of Nakayama Seikojo (Nakayama Steel Works). He held additional post of vice-chairman of Amagasaki Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
