Shigeya Tanaka was born in 1908 in Japan. he was the son of Yasuke Tanaka.

Education

He graduated from Nagano Commercial School.

Career

After school he helped his father Yasuke's business. Became president of Dai-Nihon Horei Insatsu (Greater Japan Laws and Ordinances Printing) Company. He was a chairman of the Prefectural Proprietors Association, standing director of the Japan Economic Federation and standing director of the National Printing Industry Association. He was elected member of the House of Representatives twice.
