Education
He graduated from Tokyo Semmon Gakko (predecessor of Waseda University) in 1898.
Career
Was appointed principal of Seijo Girls High School in 1908 and stayed in that capacity for 37 years till his death. In between also lectured at Tokyo Women's College and Waseda University.
