Shunkai Bundo was born in 1878 in Tochigi, Japan.

Career

Shunkai Bundo wrote skillfully in every style of handwriting but obviously the most tasteful among his handwritings are those done in the square style of the Luchao school. Shunkai Bundo was director of Shinto Institute of Calligraphy which forms the nucleus of the world of Japanese calligraphy.
