Siegfried Buck worked as an elementary school teacher in Baden-Württemberg, Germany from 1962 to 1964. In 1970 he was appointed a high school teacher in Karlsruhe, Germany. He is an author of "Pete the Puppy", "Mitzi, Molly, and Max the Kittens", "Sadie the Shrew", "Fuzzy the Duckling", "Billy and Bonnie the Goats", "Dora the Donkey", "Gertie and Gus and the Guinea Pigs", and "Goldie the Fox" with his wife and also of "Grimm 's Tales, Bausteine Deutsch, Texte und Fragen, and Bausteine Sachunter-richt".
