Career
Suhaib Hamid Ghazi is the author of several books for children that present the religious beliefs of Muslims. In Ramadan, the author, focusing on a fictional character named Hakeem, introduces readers to Ramadan, the holiest month of the Islamic lunar calendar, and explains the importance of this holiday to the Muslim religion.
Ramadan caught the attention of several reviewers. While following the activities of Hakeem’s family, Ghazi provides "just the right amount of background information" and "interesting details," according to Susan Dove Lempke in Booklist, and the critic recommended the work highly.
