Education
Tamura Tadashi graduated from Breeding Course of Marine Product Department of Hokkaido University (1926).
Career
Served at Anatomy Department of Medical Faculty of Tokyo University and then as assistant at Rinkai Jikkensho (Marine Biological Laboratory) of Science Department of Tohoku University. Became assistant professor (1935) and then professor (1943) of Hakodate Higher Fisheries School. Appointed professor of Fisheries Department of Hokkaido University, held the chair of science of salt water multiplication (1950). Assumed additional post of engineer of Hakodate Marine Meteorological Observatory (1944).
