Tadashi Yoshinari, Chinese, American Chemical oceanographer, researcher. Achievements include first to propose that N20 produced in the sea ismainly by nitrification; observation that microorganism (Wolinella succirogenese) reduces N20 to N2 while nitrate is reduced to ammonia; co-report on oxygen isotope composition of N20 from various natural environments. Member American Geophysical Union, American Society Microbiology.
