He graduated from Tokyo University (1919).
Career
He was appointed to the Directorship of the Mito Higher School (1945) after successively serving as a professor at Niigata Higher School, Shizuoka Higher School and First Higher School. Appointed professor at Hitotsubashi University (1950) but resigned due to age limit (1951). Later, became professor at Gakushuin University.
