Victoria Viktorovna graduated from secondary school No. 1 named after A.V. Koltsova (1966), English department of the faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of Voronezh State University (1971).
Victoria Viktorovna was a lecturer, associate professor, senior researcher of the Department of English Philology of Voronezh State University (1972-1991). She was a researcher of the Moscow Language Education Laboratory Institute for the Development of Educational Systems (1991-1994). Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultural Studies of the Republican Institute for Advanced Studies of Education Workers (1994-1998). Director General of the Euroshkola Research Center (since 1998). Since 1993, participates in international projects through Council of Europe.
Her main research interests are related to the creation of training programs, Federal English Textbooks for Secondary institutions with in-depth study of foreign languages, development of federal educational standards, teacher training highly skilled workers, expertise of federal educational documents and textbooks for schools and universities.
The author of more than 300 scientific papers, including monographs: "Sociocultural approach to teaching foreign languages" (Moscow, 1991), "Cultural Studies and Sociology in Language Pedagogy" (Voronezh, 1992), "Learning the Languages of International Communication in the Context of Dialogue of cultures and civilizations" (Voronezh, 1996), "Communicative competence: modern approaches to multilevel description for methodological purposes" (Moscow, 2004).
