President of Nisshin Cotton Spinning Company and director of Japan Industrial Club and Nippon Broadcasting System.
Entered Nisshin Spinning Company; served successively as chief of Factory Administration and Personnel Affairs Sections and vice-director of Business Departament of Nagoya Branch and thereafter became director (1943), managing director (1944) and then president (1945).
Is also director-general of Japan Federation of Employers Associations, director of Japan Spinners' Association and trustee of Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Is a protege of Seijiro Miyajima, industrialist.
