Tamotsu Wada was born in 1898 in Mie Prefecture, Japan.
Tamotsu Wada served successively as chief of Farm Land Section of Okayama Prefectural Government, engineer of Agriculture & Forestry Ministry and Koa-in (Asia Development Board) and councilor and director of Agricultural Land Development Corporation and became professor of Agricuftural Department of Tokyo University (since 1949) and trustee of the same university. Also was technical expert of National Land Development Council.
Books include "Dote Zutsumi" (Dykes and Embankments) and "Mizu-o Chushin-to-shite Mita Kita-Shina Nogyo" (The Agriculture of North China Seen From the Angle of Its Water Supply).
