Graduated from Tokyo University (1917).
Career
Tange Masaharu served as a professor at Morioka, agricultural college and as instructor at Kyoto University tiil he joined Kyushu University. Meanwhile he was sent by the Ministry of Education to Europe and America for further studies. Was once head of the farm attached to the Agncultural Department of Kyushu University.
He was a member of Japan Agricultural Society, Japan Society of Genetics and of Japan Zoological Society.
