Graduated from the Leningrad Choreographic School, 1930. Pupil of A. Vaganova. Graduated in theatre history from the Leningrad Theatre Institute, 1954.
Career
Dancer and soloist at the Kirov Theatre, 1930-1959. PhD from the Russian University of Theatre Arts, 1957. From 1960, taught at the Leningrad Choreographic School.
