Ikeuchi, Tatsuro was born on January 20, 1942 in Antong, Manchuria. Son of Shingo and Midori (Takayama) Ikeuchi.

Research fellow Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo, 1968-1971. Assistant professor Asahikawa (Japan) Medical College, 1974-1975. Assistant professor faculty of science Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, 1975-1979.

Associate professor Medical Research Institute Tokyo Medical and Dental University, since 1979.
