Background
Astrakova Tatyana Alekseevna was born in 1814. She was a illegitimate daughter of a merchant and a serf. From the age of three, she was given to a landowner's family for upbringing.

Personality
From her three she was given up for upbringing in a landlord family. The impressions of this time left an imprint on Tatyana's character, painfully proud and maximalistly straightforward, manifested later in her relationship with people.
Connections
Since 1838, Tatyana Alekseevna married to the master of mathematics N.I. Astrakov (1809-1842). Through her husband, she met A.I. Herzen , N.P. Ogaryov , T.N. Granovsky , M.S. Shchepkin , and E.F. Korsh .
