He graduated from Tokyo University in 1915 with a degree in medicine.
Career
Tenji Taniguchi was appointed a technical expert at the Infectious Disease Research Institute. He was appointed professor at Osaka University as chairman of the Bacteriology Faculty in 1927 and concomitantly was head of their Medical Research Institute.
