Tetsuya Kusuda, Japanese civil engineer. Recipient Waters prize, Environs. Newspaper Company Ltd., Tokyo, 1990, medal with purple ribbon, Japanese Government, 2005. Fellow Japan Association Civil Engineers (prize 1995); member Internal Water Association, International Society Ecological Modelling, Japan Society Water Environment (prize 2000, 02), Japan Society of Hydrology and Water Resources (president 2002-2004, prize, 2006).

Background

Kusuda, Tetsuya was born on December 10, 1942 in Kishiwada, Osaka, Japan. Son of Kazuo and Iseko Kusuda.

Lecturer Kyushu University, Fukuoka, 1970-1973, associate professor, 1973-1978, 80-86, University Florida, 1978-1980, professor, 1986—2006, Kitakyu University, since 2006. Director Institute Environmental Systems, 1995-1998. President Advisory Board of City Fukuoka, since 1994.

Vice president advisory committee Fukuoka Prefectural Government, since 1993.
