Achievements include design of computer model of atmospheric properities of white dwarf stars, optical properties of ice and snow, and microwave emissitives of ice and snow; research in visible and near infrared absorptivities, spectral albedos and transmissivities of sea ice, and microwave emissivities of sea ice.
