Participated in establishment of Japan Zinc Mining Company and served successively as director, managing director and senior managing director. When the name of the company was changed to Japan Zinc Mining and Steel Industry Company was appointed its president continuing in that post after it was renamed to its present one, Nichia Steel Manufacturing Company.
Held additional posts of member of Chambers of Commerce at Osaka and Amagasaki, director of Japan Federation of Iron and Steel Industry, Japan Trade Association, Osaka Industrial Association and Amagasaki Association of Industrial Employers, councilor of Industrial Rationalization Council, Japan Industrial Council and Kansai Federation of Economic Organizations, and member of Japan Rotary Club.
